Betty Anton
Betty Anton is a passionate Project Manager within BranchPattern's Green Building Certifications department. She excels in collaborating with clients and stakeholders, enjoying the process of understanding their needs and guiding them through their sustainability journey. By thinking from the client's perspective and employing empathy, she ensures their expectations are met and exceeded.
Betty's impressive credentials include LEED AP for ID+C, BD+C, O+M, and roles as a WELL Performance Testing Agent, EDGE Expert, and EarthCheck Design Accredited Professional. She has a rich history of teaching LEED O+M at her university's LEED Lab, conducting Green Associate training, leading ASHRAE workshops for top-tier lighting design firms, and delivering compelling conferences on LEED topics. One of her most remarkable accomplishments is managing a project that achieved LEED Gold for BD+C: Hospitality, where she orchestrated nearly every aspect of the project. Betty’s academic background in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad TecMilenio has equipped her with the technical skills and creative thinking necessary to excel in her field, making her a standout professional in green building certifications.

Caitlyn Ziegler

With a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Marketing, Management and Business Administration, from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, Caitlyn combines her communication prowess and creative flair to shine in her role. She is an active member of SMPS, continually growing and learning within her field. Beyond her professional growth, Caitlyn excels in interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with coworkers and clients alike. Her empathy and gift for creating meaningful connections leave a lasting impression, and her infectious positivity is simply unforgettable.
When she's off the clock, Caitlyn’s zest for life takes center stage. She's become quite the disc golfer in a short time, and her love for planning and strategy shines in her high scores in Stardew Valley. Caitlyn’s creativity comes to life through DIY projects, coloring, and crocheting. She’s also an avid reader and has an uncanny talent for remembering movie lines and lyrics verbatim. A true adventurer, Caitlyn has traveled to 34 states and 7 countries, with more journeys ahead.
Carlos Kelly
Carlos Kelly is a Building Performance Modeler at BranchPattern, where he’s dedicated to helping clients reduce their environmental footprint through innovative energy modeling. He approaches every project like a detective, thriving on unique challenges and transforming data into engaging stories—because to Carlos, sustainability should be anything but boring.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Mexico's Valley University, Kelly has a solid foundation in design and sustainability principles. His credentials include Fitwel Ambassador, LEED AP BD+C, O+M, and ActiveScore AP. Actively involved with the Young Architects Forum and USGBC, Kelly became the youngest professional in Mexico to achieve his credentials and contributed to several first-in-region LEED certifications, giving him a broad understanding of diverse approaches to sustainability within the AEC industry. During his time in Mexico, Kelly also led the LEED Lab program at Monterrey Institute of Technology’s Guadalajara campus for two years. He sees this experience as a pivotal opportunity to pass the torch, helping to shape a new generation of professionals poised to lead the sustainability industry.
Carlos sets a high bar for himself, aiming to present at least one local, national, and international event each year. This year, he had the privilege of speaking at the ASHRAE International Decarbonization Conference in Madrid, where he presented the City of Boulder’s new headquarters project—a perfect fit for the conference’s focus on low-carbon strategies, blending passive and active systems. He also spoke at Build PGH 2023 about ESG at both the project and portfolio scale. For Carlos, presenting is more than just sharing knowledge; it’s about making connections, stepping out of the box, and seeing what others are doing. He’s grateful that BranchPattern supports and encourages Employee-Owners to seize such opportunities.
Known for lightening the mood with his jokes, Carlos brings a vibrant energy to his work environment. Always eager to earn new credentials and continually grow within the organization, he’s committed to supporting his peers. Guided by the philosophy, "Everything you do is something you chose not to do," Carlos is determined to make intentional, impactful choices in his career.
When he’s not at work, Carlos is all about the outdoors. Whether it’s dining on the terrace, grilling on the deck, reading at a picnic, or staying active with tennis, skimboarding, kayaking, or skateboarding, Carlos is up for anything that gets him outside. His hobbies include exploring new places, trying new things, diving into good books, and during the winter, indulging in more TV than he probably should. A fan of fresh food, his top favorite will always be mariscos, especially ceviche.

Chinonye Uche is a dedicated Project Manager at BranchPattern, where she approaches every project with the mindset that "every race is an opportunity." Whether she's navigating complex ESG frameworks like LEED O+M, LEED Zero, GRESB, CHPS, Fitwel, or Fitwel Sites, Chinonye sees each new challenge as a chance to push boundaries and create meaningful change. She excels in project kickoffs, client communications, and documentation management, all while staying committed to her larger goal of bettering the planet through sustainable practices.
With a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Sustainability from Cornell University, Chinonye’s expertise is backed by strong technical writing and research skills. She has a talent for managing projects with moving scopes, ensuring that even the most novel programs stay on course. A standout moment in her career was serving as the project manager for the 2022 Embodied Carbon paper and helping BranchPattern achieve its first GRESB submission—a perfect example of how she seizes every opportunity to drive success.
In her free time, she channels her love for puzzles into mastering sudoku, seeing each puzzle as a chance to sharpen her problem-solving abilities. She also brings this outlook to her personal development, always looking for ways to grow and refine her skills. Corey Griffiths
Corey Griffiths is a Healthcare Plumbing Designer at BranchPattern, specializing in efficient plumbing designs for healthcare projects and advising colleagues. With over a decade of experience, Corey is known for his meticulous and detail-oriented approach, advocating for simplicity, organization, and a team-driven method to enhance project progression. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University and is studying for the CPD (Certified Plumbing Designer) certification. He is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) and actively volunteers with The Gathering Place, Habitat for Humanity, and Chatfield Farms Botanic Gardens. His career highlights include designing a Pediatric Operating Room Building for Albany Medical Center, a project that took almost three years to complete.
Corey believes in the importance of nature for rejuvenation and often hikes, backpacks, and camps in his free time. He enjoys trying new things and keeping his mind engaged with exciting challenges, whether it’s learning mountain biking or tackling a vehicle modification. Always eager to learn, Corey’s latest interest involves researching portable power stations with solar charging for an overlanding vehicle build.
David Pitts
David Pitts is a Mechanical Engineer at BranchPattern, where he excels in system design, load calculations, ductwork and piping design, and equipment selection. He prides himself on being an excellent team player, fostering a positive work environment through effective communication, collaboration, and support. Always willing to lend a helping hand and share knowledge, David has been invaluable in helping his team navigate challenges and achieve their goals.

Holding credentials like LEED AP BD+C and ISSP SEA, Davis has successfully steered over 10 industrial projects to achieve Silver and Gold LEED Certifications. Eliana Peralta-Sapienza
Eliana Peralta-Sapienza is a dedicated Building Performance Analyst at BranchPattern, specializing in Building Performance Analysis for energy, operational carbon, and embodied carbon. Committed to her belief in leaving the world better than she found it, Eliana's mission is to enhance buildings' energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, thereby mitigating human impacts on the environment.
Since earning her Master’s in Sustainable Buildings and Environments from the UK in 2016, Eliana has been actively working to leave a positive mark on the sustainability field. She holds impressive credentials such as LEED BD+C, WELL AP, EDGE Expert, and LFA, and is an active member of USGBC and ILFI. Her commitment to leaving the world better than she found it has led her to work on notable projects globally, including in the UK, Ireland, Azerbaijan, and the Dominican Republic before joining BranchPattern. A highlight of her career was serving as an energy assessor for a 500 million euro leisure project in a forest.
Eliana’s creativity shines through her beautiful jewelry-making and expressive watercolor painting.
