What is the most rewarding aspect about your job?I am very thankful that I get to come to work every day and do what I love. At the center of everything I do are people and being the HR and Talent Development Manager I am able to impact the lives of our employees every day. I feel so rewarded seeing our employees grow, develop, and improve themselves from the work that I do with them. When did you know you wanted to work in Human Resources?I, probably like most HR professionals, didn’t know that I wanted to be in HR. HR found me when I wasn’t even looking. I first had the exposure to insurance and 401k's, then was exposed to recruiting and it was love ever since. I have since been exposed to almost every segment of HR and it has been an amazing experience and with the workforce and workplace changing every day, the things I get to accomplish in HR are ever changing as well. What does 'Improving Life' mean to you?'Improving Life' really does not mean one thing to me, because I see it in everything. Improving life could be making someone’s day, by improving a lifestyle, by helping with the environment. There are just so many ways we can improve life. I also think improving life means something different to everyone. To someone that might be having a hard time, Improving Life could mean keeping the lights on, where to someone else Improving Life could me finding a cure for cancer.
